Achieve Better Business Performance than your peers!
The Business Excellence (BE) initiative administered by SPRING Singapore provides organisations with a roadmap for excellence and helps you understand how to improve your performance. This is done through a thorough assessment of your organisational performance based on the INTERNATIONALLY BENCHMARKED BE framework to obtain external perspectives of your organisation’s strengths and areas for improvement.
Facts & Figures
A 2014 Business Excellence Impact Study by the National University of Singapore Business School showed that private-sector organisations that have been certified to Business Excellence (BE) standards achieved higher profit growth. The study found that between the period of 2008 to 2012, the profit of organisations certified to BE standards grew an average of 14.1%, DOUBLE that of their industry peers, which grew at a 6.9% average. These organisations also achieved greater improvements in customer satisfaction and experienced a reduction in employee turnover. In particular, organisations on the journey for five to 10 years performed best in terms of revenue and profit growth. They achieved 7.5% revenue growth compared to the 5.4% industry average, and 25.5% growth in profits against the industry’s 6.3%. In addition, profits of SMEs that are certified to BE standards grew by 19.2%, against the industry’s average of 6.1%.
