This seminar aims to educate the businesses with the knowledge of the latest Ministry of Manpower (MOM)’s regulations. With the valuable knowledge gained, businesses will be able to protect their business by implementing it into their policies.

From 1 April 2016, all employers will be required to issue itemized payslips and key employment terms (KETs) to employees covered under the Employment Act. As for now, all breaches of the Employment Act are criminal offences. Together with the introduction of itemized payslips and KETs, MOM will also set up a framework to treat the less severe breaches as “civil breaches” which attract administrative penalties.

Also with effect from 1 August 2015 under the Fair Consideration Framework, firms making new EP applications must have advertised the job vacancy on a new jobs bank administered by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). The advertisement must have been open to Singaporeans, comply with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices and run for at least 14 calendar days before an EP application can be made.

This seminar will also share with the participants on the following:

  • Words And Phrases To Avoid In Job Advertisements
  • Government Assistance Schemes In Regards To Human Resources

Participants will receive the following during the seminar:

* Free Guide Book from Ministry of Manpower

* Free Sample of Non-Discriminatory Job Application Form

* Free E-Payslip Generator from SIMTech
