PROTECTING YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN ASIA
The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) and SME Centre @ Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SME Centre@SMF) are organizing a seminar on “Protecting Your Intellectual Property Rights in Asia” to provide Singapore-based companies an overview into the methods of protecting and commercialising their various IP rights regionally. The seminar will be focusing on Trademarks in Asia as well as critical aspects of non-registrable IP rights such as Copyright, Confidential Information and Trade Secrets which can be utilised to protect valuable assets. This seminar will be useful for companies who wish to know more about the various IP rights, to better protect themselves against infringement from abroad.
During the session, IP Professionals will share about how companies can protect and commercialise their intangible assets and how to enforce their intellectual property rights to prevent infringement.
This is followed by the one-to-one IP Clinic. It gives companies an opportunity to raise any IP issues relating to their unique circumstances.
